Getty Villa Architecture

This report is on my vi sit down to the Getty Villa. In this report I will go over few of the architectural stylings of the Getty Villa. Which were inspired by the Villa dei Papiri. The Villa dei Papiri was destroyed by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. As intumesce as some image elements and details. Entering the villa the first manner I passing play into is the atrium. The atrium is the important public populate in a Roman house. In the middle of the atrium is an impluvium, which is like a small jackpot. And it has an open hood above it so it rump catch rain water. And a narrow pool is in the total and is lined with replicas of bronze statues that resemble women that would rese rve once been effect at the Villa dei Papiri. As I walk around the arcade I notice the coffered pileus. This ceiling imitates rock and roll ceilings set up on the Street of the Tombs in Pompeii. The arcades floor is coat with terrazzo. The following(a) area I enter is the Triclinium which is the main dine room and where guests were entertained.
